Genau wie die Kleinanzeigen für Autos und Immobilien werde mit der Zeit der Anzeigenmarkt ins Netz abwandern. Gerade in den Branchen Gastronomie und Wellness würden dann viele Händler nicht mehr auf die Zeitungen zugehen.

Dabei böten Verlagshäuser alles, was Groupon sich derzeit mit sehr viel Geld aufbaue, sagt Greschner. “Wer hat in jeder Stadt die besten Kontakte zu Händlern? Seit hundert Jahren die Zeitung.” Um dieses Potenzial entsprechend zu vermarkten, müssten die Verlage in eigene Portale mit ihrem eigenen Personal investieren, anstatt die Webseiten extern entwickeln zu lassen. “Ansonsten bekommt das schnell einen Stiefkindcharakter.”
Gefährlich halte ich die Meinung des im Artikel über mir genannten Herr übrigens wirklich, der da sagt: “Den (gedruckten) regionalen Anzeigenmarkt könnten Gutscheinportale auf lange Sicht nicht ersetzen, glaubt Herzberg. “Sie sind aber eine attraktive Ergänzung.”
