Dafür, dass es sich hier nicht nur um ein Wohnort nahes Hobby handelt, sondern Omidyar es ernst meint, spricht zumindest sein Blogeintrag von gestern Morgen und auch ein Bericht der Denver Post: John Temple wird Chefredakteur des Localnews-Projektes. Temple ist ehemaliger Herausgeber und Chefredakteur der vor einem Jahr unter großer Medienaufmerksamkeit untergegangenen Rocky Mountain News.
